Why Do We Suffer?
Suffering isn't always a bad thing. If you suffer enough, you will surrender. Surrendering is the key to true happiness. You cannot understand what surrendering is unless you have suffered enough to let everything go. To stop caring what happens and realize that we cause our own suffering.
Almost all suffering is self inflicted. We let ourselves think in the past and our thoughts are usually what cause our suffering. If you want to let go and surrender yourself to everything, suffering is the best way to do that. Those who suffer greatly often give up on worry after enough pain has been dealt.
People can act too soon to suffering and commit suicide in order to escape the pain. It's hard to live through that much suffering and get to the other side of surrender.
In the end suffering is mostly self inflicted but it also can be a great teacher.

Living in the Now
Living In The Now
People have a very hard time living in the now. It's easy to understand, but hard to accomplish. We have been raised to live for the past and the future all the time. It seems the past and the future control us when it accomplishes nothing for the now.
Living in the now is an amazing way to live. You feel free from worry and stress. If you can truly accomplish living in the now it is almost like a meditative state of being. You can sit there and stare at nothing but feel totally relaxed and worry free.
It seems people have to suffer deeply in order to realize that we're living in our past. What is the point in dreading on the past when it no longer effects our daily routine. Some people spend hours of their day just thinking on past events when they no longer exist. It is extremely hard to let go. Don't try to seek letting go, just accept it without intent.

What is Wrong With Being Different?
What is Wrong With Being Different?
Everyone see's being different as this terrible thing. Someone who doesn't do things the way society wants them to be done. Society fears the abnormal person. They don't buy the clothes that designers sell, they don't care what car they have as long as it runs, they don't have any real care for money.
Our societies main goal is to turn us simply into consumers. Money is everything in their eyes and they know how to get it. Advertisements, social popularity, who is cool, who is not. Everyone want's to fit in, so fitting in means dressing a certain way and being successful. Having the good car means you're better than the person who gives their money to charity. Society and It's views on people are sick.
What can abnormal people do to fit in? Nothing at all. They can live their life the way they want but everyone will look at them differently. Someone who doesn't care about social status is someone who won't fit in with society as well as everyone else. All abnormal people can do is try to live off the grid and try to be happy in their own way.

Anxiety and Stress
Anxiety and Stress
Anxiety and stress is caused mostly from a very simple yet complicated thing, your thoughts. If someone who is very anxious deeply looks into their thoughts they will find out that they are worrying. This is one of the reasons people like exciting things such as roller coaster, jumping out of planes, etc. Try and worry about life while you're falling from the sky 115 - 180 miles per hour.
You have to learn how to calm your thoughts in order to calm yourself down. If you're anxious about something that is coming up, either don't think on it at all or tell yourself the positive things about it.
Anxiety and stress are a huge problem in society. It's mostly caused over money/work which is sad. If a loved one dies, it almost seems impossible to recuperate and feel normal again. Over time you may feel better but that can take years. All you can do to help lessen the pain is trying not to think about it, which is extremely hard. You could also come to the realization that everyone is going to die, including you.
Thoughts may not change the physical world, but they change your feelings more than people think.

Life and Money
Life and Money
What does money have to do with life? It's just a way of wealth. Society controls us with pieces of paper called money. Everyone is controlled by money to the point if society is having problems with money they call it a "depression".
Money is a way we measure wealth of a human being. All we need is shelter and food, yet people take it to the extreme and want everything. They fall under the advertisements of having it all. That special car, the dream home, etc. Having that special car and home makes you look better in society and that's why society is sick. Helping others should be what makes you look better in society.
If money was destroyed and we all had to just take part in making our world a better place it would be great. It may be a very unrealistic view but It's something the world should aim for. Life isn't about being wealthy It's about being happy. Wealth can buy some people happiness but great happiness comes from within.
Natural wealth is health. Everyone who is filthy rich may not be mentally healthy.

What is Life About
What is Life About?
It's hard to look at life and try to make any sense of it at all. Us being in this giant universe that is so big you can't possibly fathom how big it is.
Life is a spectrum of vibrations. Everything from our known five senses, to emotional vibration. A spectrum of vibrations inside this thing we call a body. Sometimes the vibrations are hard to deal with, sometimes they're boring.
What Can You Do if Life is Really Tough?
No matter how hard life can get, you can always let go. You can always remind yourself that this
is only temporary. All this pain and emotion is just a mask. A mask to hide who you truely are. You're free. There is nothing you can do but let go. One day you will die, and that's what it could be that forces you to let go. Once you realize that there is no point in getting so wrapped up in our problems you can start to relax.

Life, Work and Stress
Life is stressful for almost everyone. People go on through their daily stressful work life usually not even enjoying their jobs. Finding a career you enjoy is considered to be the best way to enjoy life. Feelings of accomplishment and purpose is what a lot of people seek. Parents want to pass on their success to their children and ensure they are set to pass that on to their children.
If you want advice choosing a career, I advise pretending money doesn't matter. No matter what it pays if you enjoy it, do it. It's better to have a life you enjoy and die young, than to live hating life and die old. Stress is a big problem in the world and money appears to be the biggest cause of it.
The thing about society today is you're always being told that you have to reach some sort of goal in life. That there is some sort of goal to reach when you're out in the work environment. Though maybe instead we should enjoy the journey instead of waiting for the results and the end.
Here is something that I found to be quite true in our society. Going through life expecting to reach that goal that you went to school for, only to find out it was a hoax.
"We've got a system of schooling, that gives a completely different impression. It's all graded, and what we do is put the child into the corridor of this grade system, with a kind of "C'mon kitty-kitty-kitty", and now you go to kindergarten, and that's the great thing.
Because when you finish that you'll get into first grade, and then, "C'mon", first grade leads to second grade, then you get out of grade school and you go to high school, and it's revving up. "THE THING IS COMING!"
Then you're gonna go to college, and by jove, then you get into graduate school, and when your through with graduate school you go out to join the world.
Then you get into some racket, where you're selling insurance, and they've got that quota to make, and you gotta make it, and all that time: "THE THING IS COMING, it's coming, that great thing, the success you're working for.
Then you wake up one day, about forty years old, you say, "My god, I've arrived! I'm there!" And you don't feel very different from what you always felt. And there's a slight letdown, because you feel there was a hoax." - Alan Watts
"We thought of life by analogy with a journey, with a pilgrimage, which had a serious purpose at the end and the thing was to get to that end - success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after your dead. But, we missed the point the whole way along." - Alan Watts
